On March 27, 2018, at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna we had the opportunity to attend a workshop held by Christof Nüssli, directly from Cpress (Zurich).
It was a very exciting day with the opportunity to learn from the design method of an established graphic designer.

After giving us some photographic material about the bands, I chose the following artists:

DANNY BROWN
ST. VINCENT
Later I wanted to think about two key concepts, namely strictness and explosiveness.
I elaborated the concept of strictness creating a sort of cage with the black tape because it accentuated the contrast; while for the explosiveness and dynamism, after having made a collage of scraps of photos, I scanned it creating distortion effects.
So I also thought of a lettering for the name of the artist always continuing with the technique of scans of black tape
I have therefore reached a synthesis between visual and typography, that's it
